I am very excited to say that earlier this afternoon, the Lacey Township Police Department met with 5 year-old Jaxon from Lacey Township. Jaxon, who is one of our special honorary police officers, stopped by to visit us and show us his Lacey Township Police Department patrol vehicle that he recently built. On Sunday, February 7, 2021, Lacey Township Police detectives arrested Bernard K. Kappen, 29, of Forked River, after he was observed leaving the rear of a business in the Lacey Business Park.  The investigation on that date revealed that Kappen had driven his vehicle to the isolated area in the rear of the Business Park where he cut and removed a catalytic converter from a vehicle.  The damaged vehicle was owned and utilized by a [...]
