Traffic Alert–Route 9/Bay Avenue (Forked River)–Road Closed

The Lacey Township Police Department is currently investigating a serious motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Route 9 and Bay Avenue in Forked River.  Route 9 will be closed in both directions until the investigation is complete.  Please use caution if traveling in that area.

Due to a motor vehicle crash at Route 9 and Laurel Boulevard in Lanoka Harbor (Lacey Township) involving a telephone pole, that area of Route 9 will be closed for several hours. There will be detours at two locations (Route 9 and South Street) along with Route 9 and Haines Street in Lacey Township. Please avoid the area if possible and drive safely. Department News – Lacey Township Police Department – Drug Production Facility and Distribution Arrest

      Detectives of the Lacey Township Police Department conducted an investigation into a Forked River resident suspected of distributing Controlled Dangerous Substances (CDS).  The target of the investigation was identified as 21-year-old, Andrew M.
