Shoplifting- On Thursday, March 25, 2021, at 8:30 p.m., CVS contacted police reporting a theft.  The staff reported that an unknown male suspect entered the store and stole several perfumes off the shelf prior to breaking into a locked fragrance display.  The suspect, a white male in his 20’s, was seen running from the store prior to police arrival.  Detective May along with the Ocean County Sheriff’s Department Crime Scene Unit responded to investigate. Shoplifting- On Saturday, February 6, 2021, at 5:43 p.m., Officers Jason Lee and Brian Holt responded to Walmart for a report of shoplifting. Loss Prevention advised that 34 year-old Nicole Finnica was in custody for not scanning all of her items at the self-checkout. The total theft was $30.39.
