Members of the Lacey Township Police Department and local Emergency Services Volunteers will once again be breaking protocol for a good cause.       DUI Arrest – On Thursday, October 26, 2017, 7:23 p.m., Officers Martin Julian and Patrick Watkins responded to the WaWa, 701 Route 9 North for a report of a female passed out in her vehicle. Investigation at the scene led to the arrest of 35-year-old Jaymee Tice-Britton of Enterprise Drive, Forked River, for DUI. The Ocean County Police Chiefs Association launch a centralized training process

The Ocean County Police Chiefs Association and 23 of its member agencies have entered into an agreement to conduct a centralized testing process.  The results from this exam will be used for the selection process for entrance into the Ocean County Police Academy Alternate Route Certification Program .  Twenty-two Ocean County Police Departments will also use the results from this exam to fill current and anticipated vacancies for full time and/or Special Law Enforcement Officer [...]
