      Shoplifting Arrest- On Thursday, September 13, 2018, at 8:54 p.m., Officer Anthony Sarno responded to Walmart in Lanoka Harbor to investigate a shoplifting incident. The Investigation at the scene led to the arrest of 45-year old Kristen Arntz, Leeward Avenue, Beachwood, NJ. The Annual Lacey Township Flu Inoculation will take place at Saint Pius Church, located at 300 Lacey Road in Forked River, on Thursday, October 4, 2018, from 10am to 12pm. The Ocean County Health Department will provide flu and Pneumonia vaccinations. Influenza and Pneumonia vaccinations are free if enrolled in Medicare Part B. On Wednesday, September 05, 2018 at 8:54 a.m., the Lacey Township Police Department received multiple phone and 911 calls reporting a large volume of smoke coming from the roof of Caffrey’s Tavern, located at 440 Route 9 South in Forked River. Upon arrival, officers observed heavy smoke emanating from the kitchen area of the restaurant along with large volumes of flames coming from the roof.
