The Lacey Township Police Department has been receiving phone calls today from residents regarding the Rotary Club's Pro Wrestling fundraiser event that was previously scheduled for this evening at the Lacey Township High School. Due to the on-going COVID-19 pandemic, and the current New Jersey Executive Orders (holding this event now would be a violation of those orders) this event had been postponed and will be scheduled for a later date. Theft- On Friday, May 8, 2020, at 2:46 p.m., Officer Noah Schaffer met with a Forked River resident reporting theft. The victim stated that his credit card was utilized by a suspect to forward $200 through a Money Gram app. The case is under investigation.
