Due to a motor vehicle crash on Sunrise Blvd and Foxwood Lane in Forked River involving a utility pole, residents and drivers can expect traffic detours and widespread power outages in the area throughout the afternoon and evening of August 10, 2021. Sunrise Blvd will be shut down between Sunset Drive and Fernwood Lane.

DWI, Obstruction of Justice, Resisting Arrest, Aggravated Assault, Terroristic Threats- On Friday, July 16, 2021, at 6:58 p.m., Officer Keefe responded to the area of Chestnut Drive, for a report of a driver who was possibly intoxicated. The caller also reported they had just been involved in a verbal dispute with the driver.
