*** The National Weather Service Has Issued The Below Winter Storm Watch/Warning ***
“The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm watch/warning. The watch will remain in effect from late tonight (Friday, December 8, 2017) through late Saturday night (December 9, 2017). Heavy Snow is possible, plan on difficult travel conditions. Total snow accumulations of 3 to 6 inches are possible in portions of southern New Jersey. The heaviest snow accumulations will occur between 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 9, 2017. Significant reductions in visibility are possible.”
Please remember to remove all parked vehicles from the roadways in Lacey Township as required by ordinance. Keeping the roadways clear during and after a snow fall is necessary so the Lacey Township Department of Public Works can effectively clear the snow from the streets. Vehicles left in the roadway may be ticketed and towed.
Additionally, please make sure all portable basketball hoops, garbage cans, etc. are removed from the roadway.
