On Friday, November 3, 2017, members of the Lacey Township Detective Bureau’s Narcotics Unit, commanded by Detective Lieutenant Christopher Cornelius, completed an ongoing drug investigation. At 11.20pm, Ocean County SWAT executed a no-knock search warrant at 206 Lawrence Drive in Lanoka Harbor, NJ, in connection with the investigation.  Once inside, SWAT members located two tenants of the home and a resident of Long Branch, NJ.  A fourth individual was located in a running vehicle parked in the home’s driveway. After securing the home, an initial drug sweep was conducted by a K-9 unit from the Stafford Township Police Department.  A search of the home uncovered cocaine, heroin, marijuana, and Oxycodone.  While searching the vehicle, detectives discovered approximately 10 grams of cocaine inside the fuel door.

One of the home’s tenants and the target of the investigation, 29-year-old Kenneth Hoffman 3rd, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance and intent to distribute the substance.   In addition, 44-year-old Daniel Williams, of Long Branch, NJ, was charged with possession of a controlled substance and intent to distribute.  He was also found to have an outstanding Belmar Municipal Court traffic warrant in the bail amount of $198.  Both men were lodged in the Ocean County Correctional Facility to await a bail hearing.

The driver of the vehicle, 34-year-old Constance Roberson, of Neptune, NJ, was charged with possession of cocaine and released on her own recognizance. The second tenant of the Lawrence Drive home was not arrested.    Two vehicles were seized as a result of the drug investigation.
