On Wednesday, October 12, 2016, Heritage Village at Seabreeze (1031 Newark Avenue in Forked River) hosted a surprise “Police Appreciation Day” for members of the Lacey Township Police Department. Chief Michael C. DiBella, along with Captain Patrick Ganley, Lieutenant Paul Sullivan, Jr., Sergeant Robert Flynn, and Officer Jesse Dalziel, interacted with approximately 75 residents in the community room. The event facilitated positive communications between the police and the residents, while addressing individual concerns. Each resident was able to express any concerns they had involving our community, including but not limited to the overwhelming number of senior scams. At the conclusion of the event, Chief DiBella and Captain Ganley responded to various apartments throughout the building where they were able to interact with the residents who were unable to attend the event.
“I want to personally thank Leslie Henderson, along with each one of the residents for inviting us to interact with them today. I appreciate your support and dedication to the police department and our community.”
Thank you all – Chief Michael C. DiBella
