Courtesy Child Seat Safety Inspection Event (Saturday, August 27, 2016) –The Lacey Township Police Department, with the assistance of members of the Ocean County Sheriff’s Department, conducted courtesy child seat safety inspections for several parents, grandparents, and caregivers. The event was held between 9:00 a.m. and 1 :00 p.m. on Saturday, August 27, 2016, at the Lanoka Harbor Fire Department on Route 9 North in Lanoka Harbor, NJ. Each inspection took approximately 15 to 20 minutes to complete. Participants were provided information on the safe installation and use of child seats by trained and certified child seat technicians. In addition to our child seat safety checkpoints, the Lacey Township Police Department offers the service to our residents throughout the entire year.
