Department News (Drug Awareness) – The Lacey Township Police Department participated in the Red Night Out event at the Lacey Township High School on Thursday, February 27, 2014, with Chief David A. Paprota presenting in the auditorium, Detective Lieutenant Chris Cornelius staffing a booth with a display and drug information in the cafeteria, and Officer Joseph Soto interacting with the children in the child care area (gymnasium). Over 750 parents attended the two-hour event which focused on dealing with addiction, and more specifically, the drug related issues facing Lacey Township. The event was a great success due to the efforts of over 150 dedicated volunteers.
