Burglary- On Thursday, December 16, 2021, at 10:31 a.m., Officer Matthew D’Antonio and Detective Jesse Dalziel responded to a commercial burglary at Family Dentistry on Route 9. Officers discovered that an unknown actor(s) forcibly entered the business and stole minor items valued at $300. Damage to the business was estimated at $1,500.
Gas Leak- On Thursday, December 16, 2021, at 3:34 p.m., Officer John Simonson was dispatched to the 100 block of Nautilus Boulevard for a reported smell of natural gas. Officer Simonson located a relief valve at the edge of the road that was leaking a large volume of gas. Several homes in the immediate area were evacuated while New Jersey Natural Gas contained the leak. Nautilus Boulevard was closed for several hours during the repair.
DWI- On Saturday, December 18, 2021, at 11:08 p.m., officers were requested at Wawa, 701 Route 9, in reference to an intoxicated female. Officer Scott Keefe located Susan Loudermilk in her vehicle that was parked in the lot. Loudermilk was arrested and charged with DWI, Refusal to Provide Breath Samples, Reckless Driving, and Unregistered Vehicle. She was released pending a Court date.
Arrest- On Sunday, December 19, 2021, at 5:17 p.m., Officer Dan Biel arrested an adult female in the parking lot of Home Depot. Amber Hauser, 20, was taken into custody on the strength of a Brick Township Municipal Court warrant. Hauser was later released after satisfying the $750 bail.
DWI- On Monday, December 20, 2021, at 2:32 p.m., police dispatch received a call concerning a possible driver under the influence. Officer Michael Hein located the vehicle on Hollywood Drive and arrested the driver. Michelle Preswodic was charged with DWI and Reckless Driving prior to being released.
