JULY 9, 2017 ***** THE POWER HAS BEEN RESTORED IN LACEY TOWNSHIP AND ALL TRAFFIC LIGHTS ARE FUNCTIONING Today (July 9, 2017) at 5:30 p.m., Lacey Township experienced a power outage throughout most of the township. Ocean Township (Waretown) and Barnegat Township also experienced the power outage. Approximately 25,000 combined residents were without power. Drug Arrest – On Wednesday, July 5, 2017, at 9:15 p.m., Officer Jesse Dalziel was patrolling Hebrew Park, located at 324 Cedar Avenue in Lanoka Harbor, when he observed a suspicious vehicle parked in the rear of the park. Investigation at the scene led to the arrest of all four occupants for Possession of Marijuana 50 Grams or Less and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
