Arrest- On Thursday, January 30, 2020, at 8:17 p.m., Officer Michael Hein was dispatched to the Lacey Mall parking lot in reference to several suspicious males.  During his response, Officer Hein identified one of the actors as Charles Maulbeck.  Dispatch advised that Maulbeck was wanted for outstanding warrants issued by two jurisdictions.  Maulbeck was arrested and transported to the Ocean County Correctional Facility in lieu of $2,882 cash bail.

Arrest- On Friday, January 31, 2020, at 6:30 a.m., three officers were dispatched to Montauk Drive for a disturbance.  During the investigation, Daniel Gaboff, 35, was placed under arrest after officers discovered marijuana in his vehicle.  Gaboff was charged with Possession of Over 50 Grams of Marijuana and Possession of CDS in a Motor Vehicle.  He was ultimately lodged in the Ocean County Correctional Facility in accordance with bail reform.

Arrest- On Friday, January 31, 2020, at 2:00 p.m., Officer Jesse Dalziel witnessed two vehicles driving recklessly during a road rage incident.   Both vehicles were stopped on Lacey Road and both drivers issued summonses for Reckless Driving and Improper Passing.  While speaking with one driver, Shawn Bannon, 38, Officer Dalziel discovered an amount of marijuana and prescription medication.  Bannon was arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of CDS in a Motor Vehicle.  He was released pending a Court appearance.

Burglary- On Saturday, February 1, 2020, at 10:10 a.m., Officer Randolph Plis responded to Asian Nail, 1 Lacey Road for a reported theft.  The complainant stated that during overnight hours while the business was closed, an unknown suspect entered stealing an amount of cash.  Detectives responded and are investigating the matter.

DWI- On Sunday, February 2, 2020, at 1:29 a.m., Officer Bruce Carver and Brian Holt responded to 815 Route 9 for a suspicious vehicle.  Once there, officers discovered that the vehicle, which was driven by Holly Reagan, had struck the railing on the front of the building.  Reagan, 36, was placed under arrest after officers determined that she was under the influence.  Reagan was charged with DWI, Reckless Driving, Using a Cell Phone While Driving, and Failure to Report an Accident.

Arrest- On Sunday, February 2, 2020, at 2:09 a.m., Officer Anthony Ravallo was on patrol when he discovered two suspicious vehicles at Clune Park.  While speaking with the drivers, one was placed under arrest after Officer Ravallo discovered marijuana.  Samantha Barden, 20, was charged with Possession of Marijuana and Possession of CDS in a Motor Vehicle.

MV Theft- On Monday, February 3, 2020, at 11:26 a.m., officers responded to Medicine to Go, 528 Lacey Road, in reference to a stolen vehicle.  A delivery person reported that while unloading supplies at the business, an unknown adult male drove away in his vehicle.  The suspect was described as a white, middle-aged man, wearing a hooded sweatshirt, jeans, and a baseball cap.  Anyone with information should contact Detective Keith Pearce or Detective Kymberly Gudgeon.

Arrest- On Tuesday, February 4, 2020, at 3:54 p.m., Officer Scott Anderson took custody of a wanted person from Cape May County Department of Corrections.  Edward Bates, 35, of Maple Shade, was processed at Headquarters for an outstanding Lacey Township Municipal Court warrant and transferred to the Ocean County Correctional Facility in accordance with bail reform.

Arrest- On Wednesday, February 5, 2020, at 8:56 a.m., officers arrested a 39 year-old Forked River man for an outstanding child support warrant.  David Ferrante was arrested at his home and transported to the Ocean County Correctional Facility in default of $58,423.
