Interagency Tactical Training – On Wednesday, August 7, 2013, the Lacey Township Police Department conducted tactical training operations at the Lacey Township Middle School to further prepare patrol officers and detectives for a tactical response to an active shooter situation. The Lacey Township Police Department hosted nine members of the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office who each trained side-by-side with Lacey PD personnel. This interagency training is the first segment in a series of cooperative, training exercises the police department will be facilitating with other neighboring police agencies.
