Arrest- On Wednesday, July 15, 2020, at 8:41 a.m., Lacey Police dispatched officers to a Beverly Road home in reference to a suspicious male.  The callers stated that the unknown subject entered their home through the front door without knocking prompting them to call police.  Upon the arrival of officers, 29 year-old Robert Hyres, of Waretown was leaving in his vehicle.

Officers spoke with Hyres who reported that he entered the home because his father was inside doing an estimate.  During the investigation it was determined that no contractors were at the home and that Hyres was under the influence.  Hyres was placed under arrest and charged with DWI and Reckless Driving.  He was released on his own recognizance pending a court appearance.
