Bobby was a life-long resident of Forked River (Lacey Township) until his recent move to North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, with his wife, Marlene (Marlene was employed as a Police Dispatcher for the Lacey Township Police Department for 28 Years).  Bobby dedicated his life to various emergency services in Ocean County, holding numerous offices within.  Bobby was a life member of the Forked River Fire Department, the Lacey Township First Aid Squad and the Lanoka Harbor EMS.  In addition, Bobby served as an Ocean County EMS Coordinator (Car 23) and was also a volunteer member of the Lacey Township Underwater Rescue and Recovery.

He was also a member of the Loyal Order of Elks.

The family described Bobby as a true gentleman, who was dedicated to his family and friends. They stated he would always share a smile and a joke with you when he saw you. They further stated that Bobby enjoyed spending time at the beach or golf course with his wife Marlene, which was one of his favorite past times.
