The Lacey Township Police Department in conjunction with the Lacey Township High School, Office of the Superintendent, and the New Jersey Safety Counsel are set to begin the 2013 “Alive at 25” young driver safety program. The purpose of this program is to encourage student drivers to become committed to safe driving practices. A mandatory parents meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, January 29, 2013, at 6:30 p.m., in the Lacey Township High School Auditorium. The high school has established a rule that all students and parents of the Class of 2014 must participate in this program if the student intends to obtain a parking permit for the 2013-2014 school year. Officer Robert Flynn and Officer Julie Barcalow are the instructors for the Lacey Township Police Department’s “Alive at 25” presentations.
