Officers Investigate Carjacking- October 11, 2021

On Sunday, October 10, 2021, at approximately 11:00 p.m., Officers Michael Hyle and Scott Keefe responded to the area of Lacey Road and Arlington Avenue for a report of a vehicle left in the middle of the road. Department News – Lacey Township Police Department – Alamo GA Police Officer Ambushed During His First Shift- October 11, 2021

On Saturday morning, October 9, 2021. at approximately 1:00 A.M. , 26-year old Police Officer Dylan Harrison was shot and killed outside of the Alamo Georgia Police Department in an ambush style attack that was committed in retaliation for an arrest he made earlier during his shift. Theft- On Thursday, September 30, 2021, at 3:01 p.m., Officer Michael Baldasari responded to Walmart, 580 Route 9 N, to meet with asset protection regarding a theft of money from a cash register involving an employee. Officer Baldasari’s investigation revealed Juana Martinez, 19, had stolen a total of $485.00 over the course of a few days.  Juana Martinez was placed under arrest for the theft and released on a summons. Township News – Lacey Township Police Department – Manchester Avenue Traffic Detour – October 7, 2021

Due to a motor vehicle crash involving a telephone pole, Manchester Avenue in Lacey Township will be detoured at Grove Street and Evans Street. The detour is expected to last for the next few hours while the pole is repaired. Please utilize alternate routes if possible. Thank you.
