Fire – On Tuesday, April 24, 2018, at 6:39 a.m., the Lacey Township Police Department received a report of a fire alarm activation at the Lacey Township Middle School, 660 Denton Avenue in Forked River, NJ. Upon arrival, a small fire was located in a second floor (science classroom) which activated the fire sprinkler system in that classroom. The Lacey Township Skate Park Event is cancelled for Friday, April 6, 2018 due to weather concerns.  The next scheduled event will be held on Friday, April 20, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. The skate park is specifically for the use of skateboards, scooters, and in-line skates.  Bicycles are not permitted.
